Rich has almost 15 years’ experience in the world of IT and software licensing, having been both a software sales manager for a VAR and a Microsoft licensing endorsed trainer.

A Northerner renowned for his shirts, Rich is a fan of most films, Hip-Hop, travel, football in general (and specifically MUFC), Marvel and reading as many books as possible. Finding ways to combine these with software licensing is always fun.

Trent is the Chief Architect and co-founder of Oomnitza, and brings over 15 years of software development experience. He started programming in the second grade with Visual Basic 6.0 and dropped out of college after his first year to pursue Oomnitza and solve some of the leading challenges around managing enterprise technology at scale.

Session Title: Unified Technology Inventory, Lifecycle Management, and Process Automation

Description: IT teams are contending with significant shifts in the technology landscape across the enterprise driven by increased workforce mobility, rapid SaaS adoption, hybrid work models, and an expanded attack surface. As such, infrastructure, operations, and security leaders are looking for more effective ways to manage the sheer volume, diversity, and distributed nature of their technology assets – from endpoints and software/SaaS applications to network and cloud infrastructure. Automating IT asset discovery and lifecycle management have significant downstream benefits across user experience, process and spend optimization, and security and compliance oversight.

Join Trent Seed, Chief Architect and co-founder of Oomnitza, as we explore advancements in managing an enterprise’s technology infrastructure – Enterprise Technology Management – which is rapidly being adopted by innovative companies across multiple industries.

Adam Jeffries, Senior Solution Architect, Flexera

For over 15 years Adam has been providing advice and guidance to global technology leaders, across a range of industries, including outcome driven Business Transformation and Technology Value Optimisation programmes. Adam has worked in consultancy and technical sales roles for IBM, MEGA International and BDNA.

Session Title: Optimize and Modernize ITAM Tooling with Your Hybrid IT Estate

Description: Return on technology investments is a growing issue for organizations—with the majority of businesses tasked with optimizing their current technology while adapting to changes in their IT estate. 82% of respondents to Flexera’s 2022 Tech Spend Pulse noted a lack of good quality data (82%) and decision-making/implementation of decisions taking too long (each 79%) as the biggest challenges to IT-related initiatives. With these hurdles setting the foundations for IT organizations in need of efficiency and effectiveness gains, there’s no better time to reevaluate how integrated your ITAM tools are and whether they’re delivering on the value they were intended to provide.

Join Flexera’s Adam Jeffries, Senior Solution Architect, to learn more about how you can get ahead of your evolving IT estate and:

  • Gain clear visibility to rightsize resources and optimize costs
  • Put cost control and governance reins on your digital transformation
  • Negotiate hundred-million-dollar agreements from a position of informed strength

He has held positions with IBM and a number of technology companies as well as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. William holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Session Title: Enhance Your SAM, ITAM and ITSM Program Results with Product Enrichment Data

Description: An IT Product Data Library offers a wealth of detailed attributes about enterprise hardware and software products. This enrichment data fills gaps in your product and service catalogs that result when attributes are not discoverable or when they are not provided with procurement and licensing transactions. A comprehensive, up-to-date library eliminates the need to manually hunt for missing data, and having complete, accurate data about the products you use empowers your process workflows and reports. Normalization of naming conventions for products and vendors enables multiple applications in your tool ecosystem to speak the same language. The result is more efficient processes, a streamlined catalog, and reduced costs.
