Wisdom UK 2020: Our UK ITAM conference returns

  • 10th June & 11th June 2020
  • The Kia Oval, London

The ITAM Review returns with its fifth UK annual conference on 10th & 11th June 2020 at the iconic home of County Cricket, Kia Oval Stadium, London.

Wednesday 10 June 2020

About this event

The COVID-19 pandemic means, like everyone else, we’ve had to swiftly change our plans. Our regular in-person event is now a virtual conference and, while it will be different, we’re excited about the opportunities it offers to help us spread the ITAM goodness even further than has been possible before.

We’ve widened the conference focus to EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) – now there’s no travel involved, everyone can attend Wisdom Online! As well as all the wonderful speakers we already had planned, our aim now is to have speakers and topics from various EMEA locations, covering topics relevant to different areas – and in local languages where possible too. Wisdom UK 2020

ITAM is an ever-growing, and ever changing, discipline. There is always a new challenge around the corner – be that:

  • New technologies like SaaS, IaaS, Containers, Internet of Things and more
  • Vendors with a new – or renewed – focus on software audits
  • Evolving license models, metrics, and rules from various vendors
  • Shifts in internal politics, focus and culture

As an ITAM professional, there are 2 key things to be aware of: you can never know everything and keeping up to date is key. However, keeping current can be difficult for 3 main reasons:

  • Where do you focus?
  • Where do you find the information?
  • Where do you find the time?

And that’s where ITAM Review Wisdom aims to help.

We talk with people all over the globe – software vendors, resellers, tool vendors, C-suite execs, SAM/HAM/ITAM professionals, consultants, analysts and more  as well as conduct our own extensive research, and this enables us to identify the critical areas for ITAM professionals.

Each Wisdom conference is filled with carefully selected speakers whose topics and stories will help you grow and progress in your ITAM career – perhaps you’ll get that one piece of info you need to make a breakthrough, the knowledge to solve that tricky licensing problem, or the right way to engage your stakeholders – whatever it is, we help bring that information to you.

While we can’t give you more time (if only we could!), we CAN ensure that your time spent with us at Wisdom will be as useful as possible. As well as the dozens of sessions, we make sure there’s plenty of time for networking with your peers, plus 1-1 conversations with speakers, sponsors, and ITAM Review analysts.

Not only that, we also run 1-day licensing training sessions that are full to the brim with awesomeness AND you can get ITAM certified while you’re at the conference. With 6 to choose from, you can go back to the office with at least one industry recognised certification under your belt too!

New for 2020 – get certified on-site at the ITAM Review Wisdom conference!

Our industry certifications in:
  • Practical ITAM

Testimonials and reviews

Some previous conference delegate feedback:

‘This was by far the best event I’ve been to and I got so much out of going, more than I ever expected. I would recommend it to everyone in our industry. For me personally both my ITAM roles have been basically me left to my own devices to build ITAM functions from scratch so it was a great confidence boost to hear the experts talk about this and describe pretty much what I had done, sort of validating that I had done things the right way, and it was brilliant to meet a community of people who enjoy talking about ITAM and SAM as much as I do! Thanks again for putting on an amazing event’

‘Loved it, already looking forward to next year’

‘I really enjoyed this event. The speakers were knowledgeable and the content was great’

‘Good to hear that others we felt were a long way progressed are not as mature as expected’

‘Useful conference, good networking’

‘Great content, very topical. Appreciate the flexibility to accommodate questions from the floor in the Q&A session’

‘The panel was really useful’

‘Come back next year!’

‘Love the work The ITAM Review does’

‘Awesome event as per last year’

‘Fantastic event for first time’

‘Insightful and relevant topics. A worth while event’
