If they are publicly listed (on the NYSE) then I would have thought their would have been a link to ensuring the company remains SOX compliant (from an IT/SAM perspective). Also their might be a benefit in ensuring the SAM Manager can assist with HIPAA (patient record confidentiality) if that is a requirement of this organisation. Finally, under the Role Essentials header, “x years experience in a similar role.”

What would this group mark as the differences between a SAM Analyst and SAM Manager? I am working to fill the roll of a SAM “something” to work on my team and am curious if I really need a manager or if an analyst would do the trick…. I know what I need done, but I’m not sure of the title required to find the best candidate.

  3. Hi Brett, this would make a great discussion for our forum. http://forum.itassetmanagement.net
