David Sanders Joins Staff&Line’s UK Team
Staff&Line UK Ltd today announced that it has recently appointed a new Professional Services Manager to boost the UK division. David Sanders is an experienced hands-on technical manager with a track record of delivery within Technical Support, Service Desk and IT Infrastructure Management. David’s areas of expertise include: IT Service Management and embedding of ITIL best practice; leading teams of IT professionals across multiple locations; project & programme management; and developing technology and infrastructure to satisfy organisational goals.
David will assume responsibility for the delivery of all projects associated with Staff&line’s UK business. In essence any professional services which are wrapped around its flagship product, EasyVista. Whether EasyVista is installed as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) or on the customer site, David will ensure the smooth deployment of a working solution.
Commenting on his appointment, David Sanders said: “Staff&Line is relatively new to the UK market and operates in a fascinating space where IT asset management and service management seamlessly combine. This is a highly competitive market, and in my experience, I don’t think there are many companies that are as technically credible in both these areas as the EasyVista solution. I feel very excited and motivated by this opportunity because EasyVista is a bit of an ‘undiscovered gem’ and with little visibility in the UK market, I think we will be able to steal a march over our competitors.”
David’s primary objective will be to standardise the delivery of all UK projects, ensuring they run smoothly and that he delivers a consistent end-to-end programme to the customer. David has a highly experienced team reporting to him, providing both technical integration and functional hands-on training.
Gregory Lefort, UK managing director adds: “We are delighted to welcome David on board and to have such a qualified and experienced individual heading up our professional services team. David is extremely knowledgeable in the area of ITIL and with the launch of our latest version EasyVista 2008, which is now completely aligned to ITIL V3, we will have very compelling products and services to offer the UK market.”
Prior to joining Staff&Line, David worked at Fox IT (formerly known as Ultracomp), a leading IT Service Management Consultancy providing ITIL and IT governance consultancy as well as toolset implementation services to some of the world’s leading organisations. Throughout his long and established career with Fox IT, David performed a number of roles including Product Developer; Product Support Team Leader; Applications Support Manager; and latterly, Technology Services Manager responsible for all infrastructure and support functions.
David started his career at ICL Defence Systems as a Graduate Programmer having obtained a BSc (Hons) Degree in Computing Science. During his employment at Fox IT David obtained the ISEB Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management.
