Martin,
I wanted to provide some strong evidence to refute the early ITAM Review
Tool Census results. ManageSoft recently performed a customer satisfaction survey as part of our Microsoft Gold membership renewal. Here
are a few of the results from our customer survey:
Overall performance of the company: 77% rated us 6 or higher (9 best, 1 lowest)
Quality of Products: 84% rated our products 6 or higher
And perhaps most telling– on the following competitive advantage
question:
“In general, how would you rate the competitive advantage provided to your company by using Managesoft Corporation rather
than using any other company that provides similar solutions, services, products, support, etc.?”
40% said our products gave them a
Big or Vital competitive advantage, and
35% said it gave them some competitive advantage. So fully 75% of our customers said that we
provide them with a competitive advantage.
I’d also ask your readers to stay tuned for exciting announcements coming next week on
our Enterprise Compliance Manager SAM product.
Regards,
John Emmitt
Director of Marketing

In my opinion, Martin has strived to provide independent and nonbiased information on the ITAM Review. I would only assume the same for
this survey. He has placed it online for all to participate in and seeing that his website is very targeted, it is safe to say that only
people who are active in the ITAM branch would find access to the survey.
On the other hand, I woud not consider a survey done in
cooperation with or in support of MS as nonbiased or independent. In other words, the findings of the ITAM Census are much more telling
and important to me than a customer satisfaction survey as part of a Microsoft Gold membership renewal. In addition, because the
audience of the ITAM Census is much more broad than the customer base of one solution providers, the Census again has more weight and a
balanced view.
