September news:

Microsoft to stop Office365 On demand services

It has been confirmed that Microsoft are stopping the On Demand services for business users of Office 365 from November 2014. The initial announcement was made in a low-key post on an Internet forum, but now Microsoft has confirmed it. This impacts business users of Office 365 and Office Pro Plus.

Oracle Senior Management changes

Mr Larry Ellison stepped down as Oracle CEO in September, paving the way for a fresh pair of hands to guide the Oracle ship. Mr Ellison may be stepping down from his CEO role, but he will maintain is position as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. So, he’s not exactly giving away all of his control, but it may result in a possible change in sales tactics for Oracle, or a change in licensing. The fresh perspective and new CEO may listen to Oracle users and make a change for the better!
