Spotlight on ITAM Review Conference 2016 Speakers
Blaine Bryant, Director, IT Service Management and IT Finance – BMC
Blaine Bryant, Director, IT Service Management and IT Finance will be presenting at the US conference on day one.
In his keynote session; The Software Asset Management Journey at BMC – Challenges, Solutions and Measuring Success, Blaine will share the software asset management challenges they faced internally, the strategy they chose to meet those challenges, how they measure the success of their SAM program, and lessons learned along the way.
Mr. Bryant is responsible for all aspects of service management and financial performance for BMC Software’s IT organization and has over 20 years of managerial experience running IT operations and governance in software, financial services, and consulting services industries. Mr. Bryant is an ITILv3 Expert, possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI), is a TOGAF9 certified Enterprise Architect, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Prior to joining BMC Software, Mr. Bryant was Vice President of IT Operations for Lender Processing Services – RealEC technology platform, which transacts all mortgage loan origination product orders for 90% of the banks in the United States.
Brian Ross, Global Audit Director – Veritas Technologies
Brian Ross will be leading an interactive workshop; ‘How to work with a vendor during an audit & what not to do – is there such a thing as a win win audit?‘ at both the US and the UK Conferences on day two this autumn.
Immediately prior to joining Veritas, Brian was for 5 years part of the IBM UK compliance team in strategic vertical markets. He has over 30 years of IT experience in product developments, sales management and various technical roles with companies such as IBM, Oracle, Vignette and BAE Systems.

Colin, Manager of Kingfisher Plc’s IT Asset Management function, will discuss how can you assess the requirements of your ITAM team, how to manage ITAM responsibilities across an extended virtual team and how to grow a world-class ITAM team.
Having spent almost 40 years in IT with the last 20 years focused on delivering multi-million pound cost reductions/savings and significantly improved contractual terms & conditions through negotiations and software asset management, Colin has an excellent understanding of negotiation procedures and usage rights and the need for and management of IT assets within an organisation.
