The rising importance of user management
In this video Filipa Preston, CEO of Software Optimization Services (SOS), shares why she believes user management is a growing priority for Software Asset Managers.
SOS are based out of Perth in Australia and won the Microsoft SAM Partner of the Year 2016.
Key talking points:
- Cost control and efficiency via user allocation
- User profiles as new priority for ITAM
- Without user management organizations face overcharging and security risks
- There are cross vendors benefits (e.g. Effort made in tidying up Microsoft will help with SAP)
Philipa will be speaking at day one of our US Conference:
Workshop: Empathy v Bully – why cooperation, neutrality and mutual respect wins the day in SAM
The perceived wisdom in SAM is to make the vendor sweat in every negotiation. However, after 20+ years of successful SAM engagements, Filipa Preston, CEO of Software Optimisation Services, has found that hostility is never as productive as cooperation.
In Filipa’s session you will hear why “being Switzerland” is a win-win for SAM Success. Filipa will talk through the collaborative engagement approach which saw her firm become the first APAC company to win Microsoft’s Global SAM Partner of the Year award.
Come and meet Philipa and attend her expert sessions at the University of South Florida on 19th & 20th September 2016.
