IaaS Management – ITAM Review Market Guide
Here is the second of the ITAM Review Market Guides – this time looking at tools and services to help manage IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) in the public cloud.
IaaS environments, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, are becoming an ever-bigger infrastructure component for companies around the world. While the ability to quickly and easily start using any number of new services at the click of a button is one of the key benefits of IaaS, managing the costs, security, and compliance risks of those same services is equally one of the largest problems organisations currently face.
The IaaS Management market is highly dynamic and innovative, with numerous start-ups jostling for market share as well as larger players looking for (and making) acquisitions.

How does the guide help?
This guide isn’t an exhaustive list of ALL IaaS management vendors – rather it contains those vendors that, for one reason or another, I thought warranted being brought to your attention.
It also isn’t a deep-dive into the feature set of each product I’ve selected. This initial* guide gives a general overview of key features – hopefully enough to help you decide if you’re interested in looking at it in more detail.
*More detailed, feature focused guides and comparisons for this market are being worked on as we speak, and will be released ASAP.
This guide, and in fact all our market guides, will be free to participate in, and free to view. In time we will include your feedback (provided via Marketplace reviews) as part of the vendor overview.
Call to action
We attempt to include a wide range of tools in our Market Guides, making them truly worldwide and appropriate regardless of your company size.
If you are a vendor with an offering around managing public cloud environments, please contact me for potential inclusion in future guides.
If you are a user of any of these tools, please submit reviews via the Marketplace so I can include your views. If you use a tool I haven’t listed, please get in touch as I’d love to learn more.
