Welcoming Karen
I am very pleased to welcome Karen Smith to the Enterprise Opinions team.
Meeting our readers
Karen joins us as our Events Manager. Karen’s first event is our Tools Day on the Tuesday 18th November, swiftly followed by an Oracle Licensing Workshop on the 21st November (details to follow soon).
Both of these events are in London UK, but we have ambitious plans to meet our readers from around the globe in 2015 including USA, Germany, India and beyond. If you would like to talk to us about attending or supporting us on these events please contact us.
Who is Karen?
Karen joins us from ADP where she was Client Events and Relationship Coordinator, prior to this role Karen worked as the Events Manager for FAST Ltd.
In her own words:
- One thing you don’t know about Karen… “I worked on a remake of The Four Feathers movie in Morocco for 3 months as a Prosthetics & Special Effects Make-Up Assistant.”
- When not organizing events Karen is most likely to be found… “With my fiancé and 2 children, at the gym, or in front of the TV enjoying Game of Thrones, House of Cards and other Netflix classics!”
- The first record Karen bought was… ‘Would I Lie To You’ by Charles & Eddie – what a classic!”
- Karen has a soft spot for…. “Salted caramel desserts, Prosecco and clothes shopping, in no particular order!”
