BSA SAM Advantage Update
A quick update on the BSA SAM Advantage program launched in November last year.

According to Peter Beruk at the BSA they are currently developing an online training program for the first tier and expect the full course to be finished by 2010, registration for the first tier will be in summer 2009.

In a nutshell, the SAM Advantage program is the BSA building an international SAM program that will be recognised by software vendors and is based on the ISO 19770 standard. Our quick Guide to ISO 19770 is here and our article on breaking the ISO 19770 standard into chunks is here.

Prior to founding the ITAM Review in 2008 Martin worked for Centennial Software (Ivanti), Silicon Graphics, CA Technologies and Computer 2000 (Tech Data).
