And that’s a wrap: Wisdom EMEA 2022

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Twickenham for Wisdom EMEA 2022 this week. From magic tricks to plastic pigs, from flamboyant shirts to regal rugby stars, Wisdom EMEA 2022 had it all.

Here are a few of my highlights from Wisdom EMEA 2022:

Rich rocking his legendary shirt and trainers (2022 edition). The perfect outfit for the event host. Here is a little video of Rich walking you through the highlights of the 2022 Rich Gibbons Wisdom collection:

Awkward prize givings. It wouldn’t be a prize giving without some awkward moments. With the ITAM Review’s famously strict “you have to be in the room to win” policy when it comes to the end-of-event prize draws, there were a few more tips in the hat to hand out the prizes. Congratulations to everyone who received their prize, and special thanks to Julia Veall for being the overall winner of Wisdom EMEA 2022 through two days of relentless activity on the official Wisdom EMEA app.

Dinner with rugby legend Mike Tindall. For those lucky enough to join SHI for their post-conference dinner, they had the pleasure of meeting with the legend himself. Many thanks to SHI’s Neil Frodsham and team for hosting the post-conference dinner.

Content galore. With sessions from the likes of Flexera, ServiceNow, Canon, Danske Bank, Vodafone, Wolters Kluwer, Euroclear and many, many more, it was a packed two days. Hot topics this year included how to tame SaaS spend, going beyond compliance, how to stop audits before they even start, ITAM’s role in sustainability, relicensing software, reporting to the C-suite and of course data, data, data.

We have plenty of ideas for next year’s event so keep your diaries open. And for those of you who want your Wisdom fix sooner than that, we have the newly announced Wisdom Unplugged coming up in September. Keep an eye on your inbox for details of that very soon.

What were your highlights from the event?
